How does the bike arrive?

Our simple assembly process makes it possible to use your skills to assemble your GT at home. GT bikes will arrive 80% assembled. To get out riding, you will need to first install handlebars, seatpost, front wheel, brake rotor (if applicable) and a set of pedals. Click here to learn more about how your bike will arrive. The Force uses a BSA/73m bottom bracket.

What headset is used on the Force?

The Force uses a Semi-Integrated, 1-1/8” - 1-1/2” headset. It utilizes a ZS44/56 internal headset.

What is the maximum seatpost insertion on the Force?

The maximum seatpost insertion is: SM: 250mm MD-LG: 275mm XL: 297m.

What is the max rotor size for the rear brake on the Force?

The max rotor size on the rear brake is a 203mm rotor. The native brake rotor size without an adapter is 180mm rotor.

Is the Force compatible with a coil shock?

Yes, it is compatible with a coil shock. The rear shock Eye-to-Eye / Stroke / Bushing Width is 230mm / 65mm /(50x10mm UPR, 30x8mm LWR).

What is the max chainring size on the Force?

The max chainring size is a 34t.

What is the max tire width on the Force?

The max tire width is a 2.5in wide tire.

What travel fork can I use on my Force?

We recommend you use a 170mm travel fork. The maximum travel fork you can use on the Force is a 180mm fork.

What derailleur hanger is used on the Force?

The derailleur hanger is a TA ST SS 085. (Part #K33091)

Is touchup paint available?

Unfortunately, touchup paint is not available at this time as our paint codes are unique to our painter.

How do I adjust the flip chip on the Force?

Dropout flip chip provides +/-10mm of wheelbase allowing riders to choose between 435mm or 445mm lengths. To adjust it, simply remove the rear wheel, then pop out and flip around the thru-axle mounts to adjust them to either a short or long wheelbase. Lastly, unbolt and reblot the rear brake mount matching the wheel base setting you chose. This can be done trail side with a simple multi-tool.

What is the max rider weight on the Force?

The max rider weight is 305lbs/138kg.
